Was approach by a black dude that tried to hold my ID, the crazy thing was I was with my Caucasian friends and I was the only one singled out. His reply was "I can do whatever he wants because I can call immigration on you"!!!

Ignorance, Then a white guy came up to us, a manager or something and told me to take off my hat, I did because I thought there was no hats allowed, he stood there for 30 seconds and then try to tell me the same thing the black guy to me. I took my ID back and cursed them out. Never again!!! Avp Charlotte, NC 11 contributions. So, my girl and I went there on May 17th and it was busy. Beware of the curvy blonde who stands next to the guy checking your id, that's where the scam begins.

Oh yeah, you get your receipt after you pay and they charge you a 25 cent "hospitality donation" which I'm pretty sure is illegal! I ask the manager, Luis, if they are in the business of hustling people and he takes the receipt, which is evidence, and basically says what he thinks I wanna hear so I'll go away. Never again!!

Issa Maalouf Beirut, Lebanon 3, contributions. Nixe atmosphere Nice settings Good music They have live performances ladies and guys Ladies are gorgeous!!! Drinks and food are good I had calamari and many cocktails Very friendly staff It is recommended!!! John 6 contributions. I wish I could give a NO score for this place but here's the story I drinks we over the top expensive with all kinds of surcharges added Food was average, service was horrible, server took order, never identified herself, never came back, food was delivered to by another server, no -one checked back with us, and it took over 30mins to get the bill.

Lastly and most importantly, my debit card was hacked by someone at Mango's. My recommendation, use cash or credit if you dare visit this Miami Beach hotspot. Queen J California 2, contributions. Good party club in South Beach, good Latin music, no dancers. South Beach is always poppin', so if you're looking for a lively crowd, look no further. I visited on New Year's Day, and this club was live, even on a holiday when everything else was closed.

South Beach doesn't sleep. Or need time to recover, apparently. Here are my thoughts: PROs: - Festive crowd, party atmosphere, open late till 5am. There are no dress codes, so you'll see many people in shorts, T-shirts, and tennis shoes or flip flops.

But there was an equal number of men dressed in nice jeans and trendy T-shirts, button-up shirts with belts and casual-dressy shoes, and women dressed in jeans, skirts, blouses, casual sundresses and sandals, and club dresses with heels. Most people were casual, though no one seemed to bat an eye at those who dressed more snazzy. South Beach is 20 minutes from downtown Miami and 40 minutes from the airport.

Taxis are very hard to find between the hours of 6am and 10am. If you're looking for a club with several floors and small rooms with different music options, Twist, the gay club in South Beach, is your go-to. Always a good time there.

If you are looking for the Latin dance crowd, I recommend Macumba north west of the airport, or La Covacha in Doral, but both are very far from South Beach, so unless you have a car, or a group to split the taxi, it wouldn't be feasible to go there.

In sum, Mango's is one of the best party clubs in South Beach. I rated it 3 stars because I feel many clubs in other cities that are also well known for their nightlife, are much more impressive Las Vegas, Cancun, Mexico, etc. Hope that helps! Have fun and be safe! Curious Atlanta 1 contribution. Nice view- but so is the beach - a cops perspective. While in south beach I ate lunch at Mangos at the outdoor table on the side walk.

It was a nice lunch with a pretty awesome waitress who was also pretty atractive. Later on we were told, it was the place to be by the staff. We went back early that evening and quickly found an entirely different club. There was absolutely no room to move, or breath for that matter, and we came with a group so while we were trying to get a table we had one bouncer tell us that we had to move to an area where he was pointing.

Then another bouncer comes with an attitude, much bigger than he was, and told us all to move where the other bouncer had just moved us from. In a calm and courteous attempt to tell him what the last guy said, I quickly had 3 bouncers in front of me.

A waitress quickly came to chill them out because she had already gotten our hi dollar order. She was absolutely perfect but the doormen lacked all professionalism and were actually looking for a fight.

Later when I attempted to take my wife to the dance floor they got one! It was so packed that we had to stand on the outskirts of the 2 ft dance floor and try to merge onto it. Before I had been even standing there for 30 seconds I had one of these fools telling me to move.

I said "where am I supposed to go - it's pretty packed in here man" he then physically grabbed me and my wife by the arm and tried to drag us from the area through the crowd. Photo courtesy of Mango's Tropical Cafe.
