The lesson here is that the AeroPress can be brewed at a wide range of temperatures. To keep things simple I bring water to a boil and then let it cool for seconds. If you have a programmable kettle , experiment.
The important thing about this step is to make sure all the ground coffee makes contact with water. Try it both ways for yourself.
